Darien was born in Jamaica and migrated to the United States when he was just 11 years of age. After living in N.Y.C for three years, he would go on to achieve his High School diploma in West Palm Beach Florida. Fast forward to 2004, after moving to Chicago, he explored a colorful path before deciding to be a barber. From being a truck driver for 6 years, to later finding myself in the restaurant industry after attending Le Cordon Bleu, he accomplished a lot, but was convinced that cooking was not a lifelong career for him.

But after practicing on his own children’s hair, he became inspired to attend Triccoci University in order to become a licensed barber.

Now, because of his children, he indeed found his passion!
